In-The-Hoop Quilted Gift Basket - May 1 & 8, 9:30 - 3:30
Description
Perfect for Mother's Day (or yourself) - Anita Goodesign's Quilted Gift Basket is much easier than it looks! All 9 blocks are made In-the-Hoop and then assembled like a 9 patch quilt block. If you've made an embroidered tile scene before, this project is very similar. Stiff Timtex interfacing helps keep the basket's shape. Skill level is for the confident beginner and beyond.
Your kit will include all fabric, thread, batting, ribbon, & Timtex interfacing.
Day 1, May 1st: All about embroidery. Only your embroidery machine is needed. You will embroider at least 1 main floral basket block and 1 quilted block. You will complete all other blocks at home and have completed for next week's class.
Day 2, May 8th: Assembly day. You will only need to bring your sewing machine and other supplies.
