Description

Are you ready to take your beginning quilting skills to the next level? Quilting 2.0 will get you there. This 10 week class will teach you 18 different popular quilt blocks and give you the techniques needed to create just about any quilt pattern. You will learn how to make half square triangles, stitch and flip, & flying geese. You will  assemble a traditional 9 patch block, log cabin block, & pinwheels as well as non-traditional blocks! Some blocks are easy while others are a little more difficult. Skill Level: Confident Beginner - must have taken a Beginning Quilting class or have some piecing experience.

Weeks 1 - 9 : learn 2 blocks per session with provided scrappy fabric or your own scrappy stash. You will provide fabric to make your spool blocks, sashing, and border fabric. To make the completed 72 1/2" x 90 1/2" quilt, you will be making 3 - 4 blocks per pattern. A great way to master each block!

Week 10: get started assembling completed spool blocks with sashing and cornerstones. (You will not have enough time to completely assemble your quilt top.)

Can't commit to all 10 weeks? You can now register weekly or for multiple weeks of your choice for $20 per session. Call the shop at (919) 570 - 0777 to register for individual weeks.
